Preventing Childhood Obesity

Obesity is what that is giving problem to many people around the world. Anyone of any age can be obese. It is what when you collects some extra count of calories around the body. Chilhood obesity is a problem which is getting worse to worst day by day. You can define childhood obesity as when you have weight around 120 percent more than your height. Everyone in childhood grows height as well as weight when comes to next level of the age but if a child is getting more than extra pounds than it is a clear indication of childhood obesity.

You will be surprised but is true that the problem of obesity or overweight is very much common in UK as it is a shocking fact that in USA children are going to obese very rapidly. Even in Canada, the number is increasing at a very faster rate. Can you believe there are 1 out of every 4 children are going to be obese. Also, obesity can changes it face in later stage and take a shape of some severe problems and some of the very common names among them are: diabetes, cancer and High Blood Pressure. Some people can also be suffered by the sleeping disorders and other health disorders. A survey done by experts in 2008 said that even those who have problem of obesity can be easily caught by the problem of carotid arthritis.

Some Reasons with Prevention from Obesity- A lot of reasons are responsible for having a problem of obesity. Some of the quite commons are mentioned below:

Now a days, it is noticed that children used to spend lot of their time in front of Television and thus they are compromising with some useful things like walking, running, cycling and exercising. So, we have to do one thing that we have to make our children noticed with the benefis of some kind of simple exercises. Also, children do, whatever they see or what is atmosphere around them. So, we have to set example for them as for their motivation, we need to go for those simple exercises and also took the children with us.

Also, they used to spend most of their time in front of Television or they used to sit before computers and video games. For prevention of this problem, we have to tell the children that how beneficial is the outdoor games. We need to tell them benefits of playing football, cricket, hockey and tennis games. Also, for their motivatin we can also play with them or can organise the street matches for them.

Another reason, which is the root of the obesity is, unnutritios food. We have seen that now a days even ladies are working and even have very less time. They don’t have time to prepare nutritious food. So, they and their child developed a habit of taking fast food which are very rich in calories. So, we need to give them nutritious foods. As you can replace the hamburger with an apple or with fresh salad. You can also involve the children in preparation of food as it would prove double beneficial because they will get complete knowledge about food and also it will prove fun for them.

So, follow the tips and prevent the child from obesity.
